1. App Store reviews. Quotable with attribution to the store. Prompt for them after a completed review session or a finished focus block, never on launch.
2. Email existing users. One question: what would you tell a classmate about it?
3. Post on Reddit, disclosing that you built it. r/medicalschoolanki, r/nursing, r/GetStudying, r/premed. Disclose that you built it. You will get criticism as well as praise, and the criticism is more useful.
4. Send a code to a study channel on YouTube with no conditions attached.

What makes a testimonial worth publishing

Specifics, and a described change in behaviour. A quote saying the app is good persuades nobody. A quote naming a habit that stopped or started, and which feature caused it, is what a reader is actually checking for.

Ask what changed rather than whether they liked it.

Do not draft example quotes, even as placeholders. A plausible-looking sample sentence in a template is the single most likely thing to survive into production by accident, and on this page that is the one mistake with legal consequences.
