There are six. Space flips the card, the number keys 1 to 4 rate it, and Escape closes whatever is open.
| Key | Where | What it does |
|---|---|---|
Space | Review | Flip the card |
1 | Review | Again |
2 | Review | Hard |
3 | Review | Good |
4 | Review | Easy |
Escape | Drawing pad, scheduler sheet, dialogs | Close |
These work on a Mac and on an iPad with a keyboard attached.
A review session is the one part of Reps where your hands should stay still. Rating a card costs one keystroke because you will do it several hundred times in an evening. Everything else happens once or twice a session, which is not often enough to be worth memorising a chord for.
In practice the useful pattern is left hand resting over 1 to 4, right hand free. Space, read, rate, repeat.
